 Au Revoir, NY!

Hey friends!  I’m back in LA but got super sick upon return.  Basically, “I (he) had it coming, I (he) only had myself (himself) to blame”…cue the “Cell Block Tango” from Chicago since I’m still in B’way mode.  By the time I left NY, I could feel the extreme exhaustion building from the lack of sleep/constant activity/work days full of crazy call times (3am, anyone), and knew I was going to get something.  And alas, that something arrived just as my plane touched down in California.

I slept all weekend and was popping NyQuil like crazy to help with the congestion and head throbbing.  I’m finally beginning to see the light at the end of the healthy tunnel – the tissue consumption is lessening and the coughing is a bit more frequent, however it’s more because of throat tickles.  I uploaded all my photos wearing blue prom dresses from the trip and will get a full post up this afternoon – in the interim, here’s a fun teaser with a few of my favorite moments.

I think I found a new favorite venue, and it’s the Little White House. I fell head over heels for the pretty space the minute I laid eyes on this wedding, which just so happens to be the most charming, most lovely soiree I’ve seen in some time. With a crazy gorgeous white color palette and a beautiful couple celebrating their obvious love, you can’t help but love every single moment captured beautifully by Dragonflight Photography. Lucky for all of us, there is even more sitting pretty right here.

  

From Dragonflight Photography…I love Little White House and all things French, girlie, tea party related, white, and vintage. With photographs at an estate home in Crescent beach and beautiful photos at Little White House, Langley. Parisian influence and back yard charm exudes from this wedding! Cathy and Paul knew how to ‘play’. They know how to make each other laugh and just let go and play around. From Paul picking up his beautiful girl and twirling her around, and Cathy tugging on Paul’s shirt and blushing. It was easy to see they are very much in love. It all started at the Casino in Coquitlam. They played games, and enjoyed the lounge before heading off to dinner. Cathy found Paul to be a charmer even with his ‘one liners’. After parting ways and driving their separate ways home after a date that would forever change their lives. Paul called halfway through the drive just to say ‘he couldn’t stop smiling’. Cathy on the other end of the phone never stopped smiling either.
